The objective of this project is to provide an alternative, low-cost means of interaction for people with reduced mobility or coordination problems who are unable to use an ordinary mouse.

A mouse that you move with your head

We have developed a virtual mouse that can be moved with head movement alone. Using artificial sight technology, the user’s head movements are converted into movement on the screen.

Headmouse 4.0

This version enhances the previous version of the HeadMouse with the following features:

  • CPU consumption has been reduced. 4.0 is the version that uses the least CPU of all the versions so far.
  • RAM memory consumption has been optimised.
  • A new dropdown menu with user-configurable macros has been included. The macros can be programmed with key sequences of any type, such as [CTRL+C] / [CTRL+V] to copy and paste and [Alt+F+PAUSE+O] to directly access a menu option.
  • The program has been globally optimised.
  • etc.
