The main objective of MOVI-MAS, carried out by the University of Salamanca, is to research obtaining an innovative architecture that contributes to the labour integration of people with motor disabilities in office work environments.

Specifically, MOVI-MAS has the specific objectives of using IT and other key technologies to create an intelligent work environment that holistically supports the needs of a person with a disability for their labour integration. MOVI-MAS will act as a stimulus so that people with a disability may join the labour market and lead an independent life. Specifically, the project focuses on office positions.

With this in mind, an architecture with three fundamental components is proposed, which will be used to create a prototype in a test environment:

• A multi-agent platform based on virtual organisations, capable of learning and adapting, that makes it possible to carry out a social simulation based on agents in order to predict job placement for workers with disabilities.
• An architecture to manage multi-mode and adaptive interaction systems.
• New training mechanisms that facilitate learning through DTT Multimedia and the Internet.
