Transcription of the interview with Jordi Palacin:
The first year of this university project saw the development of Idensound and Headmouse
These two projects have arisen from research into robotics and its application for improving access to technology for the disabled.
Headmouse is the result of developments in robotics that detect where the user is looking.
It was thus possible to create a highly simple and economical system with which the user can gain access to complete control over a computer using a webcam, some free software and eye movement.
There have been 100.000 downloads during the first year of this product alone.
