To create an accessible digital television receiver for people with different types of disability. The receiver includes:

  • Built-in voice synthesizer.
  • Audio enhancements.
  • Insertion of a window in the video signal to display a low-resolution video stream (designed, for example, for a sign language interpreter).
  • Modifications to improve the accessibility of the receiver's graphical interface (menus, browser, mini-guides, etc.) for visually impaired people.
