ADISGUA
The objective of the ADISGUA (Guadarrama Disabled Persons Association) suite of applications is to offer three applications to help users with intellectual disabilities perform tasks like managing their time and money and identifying transport routes and modes. The applications are developed with Android technology (for use with cell phones).
The three applications are as follows:
This tool helps people with intellectual disability to manage money in ordinary situations, therefore encouraging their personal autonomy. It has a coin reader function, a purchase simulator that calculates the amount payable and triggers an alert if the money available is insufficient, and a savings function where the user can enter monthly income and expenditure and ascertain the amount saved. |
This tool is an aid for planning routine tasks within a specific time. It helps people who have difficulties in this respect by improving their organizational and functional capabilities. The application administrator or user can program tasks and thus plan the time required to carry out each one. |
This is a support tool for using public transportation. The application consists of two separate parts: one for planning journeys on public modes of transportation, and one that displays answers to possible problems encountered by the user en route. |
