Cloud computing to support workplace inclusion for people with motor disabilities. The key objective of MOVI-CLOUD, which is being developed by the University of Salamanca, is to research and come up with an innovative architecture that will assist workplace inclusion (office settings in particular) for people with motor disabilities.
The specific objectives of MOVI-CLOUD are to use ICTs and other key technologies to create an intelligent work environment that provides holistic support for the needs of disabled people and their inclusion. With a specific focus on office jobs, MOVI-CLOUD will encourage disabled people to join the labor market and lead an independent life.
The proposed architecture is based on three key components that will be used to create a test scenario prototype:
- A multiagent platform based on virtual organizations, with learning and adaptive capabilities to support social simulations based on agents and predict the inclusion of disabled workers.
- A cloud-based architecture to manage adaptive and multimodal interaction systems.
- New training mechanisms that support learning via multimedia DTT and the Internet.
